FMP meeting with actor and switching over

After finishing the test shoot I realised that I needed to secure an appropriate actor for the role, with this in mind me and Alex organised a meeting with local actor Peter Quinn, I was drawn to Peter after watching several student films starring him and I thought that he'd be the perfect actor to star in this role.

Peter was very enthusiastic about the script I showed him and the feedback I received indicated that he was very excited about working on the film and looked forward to the challenge. However it was after Peter discussed the time frame he would be able to work that I realised we may cutting it extremely fine with shooting days, not to mention the fact that one of the locations I had secured fell through and it was becoming troublesome to find a new spot. It was with this in mind that me and Alex had a meeting about the feasibility of the project, we quickly realise that time was of the essence and that we needed to figure out what to do

As a result we had a brief meeting with our tutor Jamie Holman and discussed the option of merging into one production crew, since we were already part of the same recently formed production company (Hoodlum Creations), we thought that it made sense to focus all our efforts onto one video, Jordan Gott had a similar problem and came to the same solution.
This was actually ideal as Alex's concept followed a very similar tone and was a dark drama which I found most interesting and was very happy to jump over to the project, with that in mind I decided to shelf my project until the summer when time wouldn't be an issue and we could fully concentrate on the project.
